Board of Directors

The Board of Directors manages the day-to-day business of the Foundation and acts as its legal representative. The will of the founder Gert Mayer and the foundation law of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia is what is decisive in this respect.

The Board of Directors manages the assets of the foundation and formulates recommendations for the use of the foundation's funds. The Board of Directors has delegated some of its tasks to the management.

The Board of Directors is appointed by the Board of Trustees for a term of five years. Its members are distinguished by their many years of expertise in economic and financial matters.

Wolfgang Sandow (Chairman)

Wolfgang Sandow is a long-standing companion and executor of the founder Gert Mayer.
He supports the foundation on the basis of his experience as an auditor and tax consultant.

Werner Hillebrand

Werner Hillebrand also worked for many years with the founder Gert Mayer.

As the head of a family business, he also contributes his many years of expertise as an entrepreneur
