In metallurgy, "alloy" is a mixture of several chemical elements. aluminum alloys are produced by mixing magnesium, copper, silicon or zinc, for example, which define the original properties of pure aluminum.
Since the starting material ALMINOX® for extrusion is produced in-house, we can also define the alloys used ourselves. If a high degree of durability, elasticity at the limit of feasibility, corrosion resistance or a brilliant surface appearance are required, our material specialists develop the desired solutions.
We develop our material.
Another variant is spray compacting for the production of extruded billets. Depending on customer requirements, this powder metallurgical process allows us to cool a high-alloy melt extremely quickly.
